The nguru is a rare and distinctive flute, traditionally played close to the ground. Its voice is soft, expressive, and deeply personal, allowing for subtle variations in tone and breath.
Each nguru is shaped and voiced with careful attention to airflow and response. No two instruments are identical, with each developing its own character through the materials from which it is crafted.
Commissions are made to order and require a 6 week lead time.
Listed price will be automatically reduced by 50% at checkout to allow payment of non-refundable deposit which confirms your commission and reserves your space on production list. Remaining 50% due on completion and before taonga is shipped. This will be invoiced separately.
